We have launched the spare parts management programme designed for operators running ten vehicles or more. The programme targets the three problems that cost fleets the most time and money in maintenance: delays in sourcing parts, unpredictable maintenance costs, and the operational burden of stock management.
Programme components
1. Fleet-specific pricing. A fixed price list set according to annual consumption volume, giving price predictability to operators who plan against a budget.
2. Safety stock commitment. We analyse the fleet's vehicle parc, identify critical lines and hold reserved safety stock for those lines in our warehouse. A critical part is then never "on order" at the moment it is needed.
3. Pre-built service kits. Service kits prepared by vehicle model (oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter and associated seals) can be ordered as a single line. This shortens ordering time and prevents services left half-finished by a missing part.
4. Consumption reporting. A quarterly report presents parts consumption per vehicle, the most frequently replaced lines and the cost breakdown. It shows fleet managers which vehicles generate above-average cost — often the first indication of a hidden chronic fault on a particular unit.
5. Priority dispatch. Urgent orders from programme customers are processed with priority in the dispatch queue.
